Breast cancer update

My mother has been advised that the tumor was larger than expected. She is scheduled to have her breast surgically removed on Monday. This was decided last night.

I am having concentration problems today. Somehow, the question of whether a claim relates back for the purposes of avoiding a statute of limitation issue is hard to concentrate on.

Thank you for all your comments. I have not felt much like blogging of late but have appreciated very much all of your comments.

I know you already know this, but the only thing you need to concentrate on is you mental wellbeing and your family.

We'll continue to keep you and yours in our prayers. If there's anything I can do let me know.

Thinking of you and your family.

Take it easy and don't worry about work. Use that to keep you busy during the surgery. Until then, just be with your family, ok? I'm sure you all need each other.

And don't blog either ok? Just drop a note on Monday to let us know she got through the surgery ok, ok?

We're praying for you.

My mother was diagnosed with stage 2 several years ago, so I know where you are at and what your mom is going through. None of this is easy for any of you.

Prayers, faith, support, positive outlook, like all have said, are essential for coping and recovering. In my own cancer recovery, writing about it, because I didn't feel like talking about it, in my journal also helped me enormously towards dealing with the challenging days and celebrating the good days.

Please know that you are not alone, you can email me if you ever need to vent or just say hi. I'm a very good listener. YOu've had a very challenging year. I will pray you find strength in your love of family and friends, and peace in your faith.

Sending you a huge long hug.

If you can't concentrate, it means you've got your priorities right. After all, what's work in the big scheme of things? Good luck with everything.

Oh...G-d bless your mother and may He bring her a complete recovery. I can understand your fears as my mother went through the surgery. Hugs to you and of course you can't concentrate. Is there anything else I can do?
